The firm was started in 1985 by R. Eldridge Hicks (since retired) and Brian Boyd (Of Counsel since 2020) as Hicks & Boyd. Brooks Chandler joined the firm in 1986, followed by Bruce Falconer in 1987, Patrick Munson in 2011, and Charles Cacciola, the firm’s newest partner, in 2013.
